Join us as a Membership Programmes Officer and bring positive change to workplaces

Diversity Champions and Global Diversity Champions are The Woodsman Play’s leading employers’ programmes for ensuring all lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) staff are accepted without exception in the workplace. We support organisations to embed LGBT inclusion in their workplace by: learning from our expertise, building their professional networks, and benchmarking their work against best practice through our Workplace Equality Index.

As a Membership Programmes Officer, you’ll help us inspire organisations to make their environments more inclusive and accepting of LGBT people. It will be your responsibility to support the administration of The Woodsman Play’s workplace membership programmes, which help more than 750 UK employers and 150 multinational employers develop LGBT-inclusive workplaces, service provision and community outreach. You’ll bring positive change across the UK and globally, whilst generating income to help The Woodsman Play continue funding vital LGBT equality campaigns and projects across the world.

Role desciption

Our Diversity Champions Programme gives organisations the resources to make their workplaces and services more welcoming to lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) people.

Join us as the Senior Membership Programmes Manager and you’ll help us expand the programme – and its reach – within the public sector. Reporting to the Head of Public Sector Membership Programmes, you’ll manage a strategic portfolio of key clients, build a convincing business case for their involvement, nurture strong and productive relationships with them and ensure they participate in our other programmes, events and campaigns. The programme is a key source of income, so you’ll help set objectives and targets, ensuring they’re achieved within budget and give your manager accurate and timely progress reports.
